How to Juggle Multiple Projects Without Panicking

If you’re anything like me, you have a list of projects you’d like to accomplish sooner rather than later. I’m not talking about your average daily errands— I’m talking Big Picture stuff. The things you can see being a reality when you visualize your future self: things that will further your quality of life, round out your career, feed your interests, or simply make you happier. Big goals.

Maybe you’ve never considered yourself a goal-oriented person before. I definitely hadn’t… Disciplined and detailed, maybe, but never the person who woke up in the morning thinking about affirmations and habit-building and asking herself, “How can I inch further towards wrapping up one of my projects today?”

I used to be perfectly comfy free-wheelin’ it: jumping on whatever project presented itself to me and switching back and forth between it and others that came along. When I finished, I finished.

But occasionally, all of us get to a point where playing it that degree of loose isn’t sustainable — especially if your ideas like to multiply and swan-dive onto your to-do lists. They become too many, too scattered — and seemingly not doable at all, if you can’t quite draw parameters around what you want.
