Oh goodness, thank you for such a heartfelt response. I love hearing other people's experiences growing up before/during/after coming out. Truly wild how a lot of us developed generally queer tastes in art & media before it even occurred to us to ask ourselves what we saw in it vs. other creative works, why it felt like comfort food or wish fulfillment, etc.

Totally agree about Videodrome, that's one I rewatch every October lol. I had no idea about those Cocteau Twins B-sides, I'm adding that to my queue. Thanks so much for reading!
