You're right, I actually majored in Critical Studies of TV & Film; it's why I love looking at media with a critic's eye as well as a consumer's eye. I don't mind a thinner storyline, and I don't agree that there's anything wrong with the film—certainly things we can disagree are effective about it, though. Appreciate you taking the time to read!
